Safe Climate Caucus members have been speaking out about climate change in a variety of ways for Earth Day 2015.  

 

Rep. Matt Cartwright (PA-17): Discussed the need for weather preparedness planning to reduce the costs of climate change.

Rep. Suzanne Bonamici (OR-1): Discussed the economic costs of climate change in Oregon.

 

Rep. Lois Frankel (FL-22): Highlighted sea level rise and climate action plans in Florida.

 

Rep. Ted Lieu (CA-33): Introduced the Climate Solutions Act of 2015 to curb greenhouse gas emissions and set renewable energy and energy efficiency standards.  

 

Rep. Lois Capps (CA-24): Introduced a bill to halt offshore fracking and require environmental review.

 

Rep. Ben Ray Lujan (NM-3): Highlighted the need to promote renewable energy job training.
