Rep. Blumenauer Announces Effort to Help Farmers Adapt to Climate Change

WASHINGTON, DC— Today, Rep. Earl Blumenauer (OR-03), a member of the Safe Climate Caucus, spoke on the House floor to highlight the invaluable role of small and midsize farmers in environmental conservation efforts and note the risks posed to their livelihoods by climate change.  Later this week, Rep. Blumenauer will introduce the Balancing Food, Farm, and Environment Act to assist farmers in better adapting to the impacts of climate change. 

The Safe Climate Caucus members have made a commitment to talk every day on the House Floor about the urgent need to address climate change.
