Rep. Pocan Details Effects of Climate Change on Wisconsin, Urges Congress to Take Action

WASHINGTON, DCRep. Mark Pocan of Wisconsin’s 2nd district spoke on the House floor today to highlight some of the risks posed to the State of Wisconsin as a result of climate change and to call on Congress to take meaningful action to address this threat.  Rep. Pocan stated that warmer winter temperatures are having an economic toll on ice fisherman who are experiencing fewer days on frozen lakes.  The Safe Climate Caucus is a group of Democratic members who highlight the need for action on climate change through daily floor speeches and other activities.
